Update from June 3rd from Sandy (Phil's wife)
"I received a voicemail from Phil mid day letting me know that he was at mile 788. Hiking in the rain. Tent leaked the night before, all his stuff is wet, puddles in the tent. Fortunately another hiker slept in the shelter, and put his tent over phil's to try to keep him dry. He has enough food for Thursday, but needs to hike into Buena Vista to resupply. Planning to spend Thursday night in a hotel so he can dry out all his gear."
