Life on the Trail..

Phil is camping outside the Overmountain Shelter at mile 384.6 tonight. He hiked up significant elevations - up 2000'+ to peaks at 6000'+. Hence some miles it was 78 degrees, and some around 30 with sleet and snow. As we talked, it started sleeting again on his tent.
